Our collective of seven Connecticut nonprofits works to directly address the issues facing 119,000 disengaged and disconnected youth in our state.
Together, we’re working to:
- Build nonprofit capacity for those serving disengaged and disconnected youth.
- Expand workforce development opportunities for disconnected youth, including those formerly incarcerated.
- Improve visibility of disengaged and disconnected youth and strengthen accountability at state, regional, and local levels.
“Teach us more hands-on, vocational stuff: fixing cars, workshop, culinary arts, life skills. You put your hands to work, gets your mind right.”
